Description

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices with proper approvals, coding, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Support administration of corporate credit card and expense reporting programs, including auditing transactions and reconciling statements.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs, including ACH, wire, check, and international payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support month-end close by preparing accruals, reconciling the AP subledger to the general ledger, and ensuring expenses are recorded in the correct period.
  • Support tax and regulatory compliance, including sales/use tax, VAT/GST/HST, and 1099/T4A reporting requirements.
  • Assist with audit requests by gathering and providing documentation.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline AP and expense workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably supporting multiple entities.
  • Strong understanding of AP practices, including tax compliance and vendor documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience with invoice automation tools or AP platforms such as Tipalti, Coupa, AvidXchange, or Stampli is a plus.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours during month-end and year-end close as needed.
  • Remote work eligibility within Canada.
  • Minimal travel required, up to 2 times per year, for company events and/or team meetings.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of CAD $50,000 to $63,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Eligibility for inclusion in the company bonus program.
  • Remote role within Canada.
  • Minimal travel requirements, up to 2 times per year.
