Description

  • Build deep expertise in high-tech manufacturing use cases, Propel’s product portfolio, and buyer needs to be the internal go‑to for the vertical.
  • Define and own the industry narrative and point of view on priorities such as faster innovation, supply chain resilience, design reuse, quality/compliance, and AI across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead market and competitive intelligence programs by engaging customers, sales, and analysts and conducting primary/secondary research to surface opportunities and recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities and translate product capabilities into differentiated positioning and messaging for the high‑tech vertical.
  • Plan and drive integrated demand generation and marketing campaigns targeting engineering, operations, quality, and executive personas tied to annual growth goals.
  • Develop pricing and packaging guidance aligned to market expectations and competitive context, and support sales on complex deals.
  • Create high-impact content and enablement (sales assets, analyst materials, exec‑ready assets) and train go‑to‑market teams, iterating based on performance metrics and market feedback.
  • Support cross-functional GTM execution with Sales, Demand Gen, Product, and Executive Leadership and provide on-the-ground deal and field enablement as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the high-technology manufacturing industry (e.g., telecommunications/networking, semiconductor equipment, hardware systems, connected products).
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), quality management systems (QMS), and related enterprise technologies such as ERP/MES and CAD.
  • Demonstrated experience developing industry positioning, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies that influence executive buyers.
  • Proven executive communication, storytelling ability, and presence with customers, analysts, and senior leadership.
  • Experience using market insights and performance analytics to drive data‑driven decisions and iteratively improve programs.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience); MBA or comparable advanced degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% and authorization to work in the United States (Propel is not sponsoring visas).

  • Base salary range $185,000–$210,000 plus participation in the company bonus program.
