Description

  • Conduct deep discovery sessions with AI researchers, technical program managers, and enterprise stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Qualify opportunities and partner with Account Executives to develop shared deal strategies that build trust and drive momentum.
  • Deliver customized demonstrations and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Design tailored solution proposals that translate customer needs into clear, high-impact recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Services teams to build accurate solution-specific pricing estimates.
  • Drive completion of RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with legal and engineering partners.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle for questions about data security, privacy, platform architecture, API integrations, participant quality, and solution design.
  • Consult on study design, technical setup, and participant calibration, and help define success criteria for pilots.
  • Lead the pre-sales process and own a thorough handoff at closed won, documenting requirements, scope, and success criteria.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with product and engineering to influence roadmap decisions and integration feasibility.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, consulting, or pre-sales role within a SaaS or data/AI environment.
  • Experience working with both frontier AI/research organizations and enterprise customers across a full sales cycle.
  • Strong understanding of API design, web technologies, data transfer and security protocols, and cloud architecture.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to executives, researchers, developers, and program managers.
  • Proven ability to scope and execute proof-of-concept projects, manage pilot programs, and support technical validation activities.
  • Experience owning a clean pre-to-post-sales handoff and documenting scope, expectations, and success criteria for delivery teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product, engineering, services, and go-to-market teams.
  • A growth mindset with strong continuous learning, problem-solving, and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Passion for AI and curiosity about the role of human feedback in model development.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, team meetings, and internal events.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI research, RLHF, synthetic data, and the broader AI ecosystem.
