Description

  • Design physical objects suitable for 3D printing using open-source CAD software.
  • Complete engineering design tasks while workflow actions and design decisions are captured for AI model training.
  • Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow.
  • Work on tasks across simple, moderate, and complex project levels.
  • Participate in vetting and screening steps before being invited to individual studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong proficiency with open-source CAD software such as FreeCAD, KiCad, or similar.
  • Python development experience with the ability to write and execute scripts independently is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience writing validation scripts, not just using pre-built tools, is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable working from the command line is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A reliable internet connection and access to a computer.
  • Willingness to complete a paid vetting survey and screening call before study participation.
  • Ability to participate on an invitation-only basis depending on client demand and profile fit.
