Description

  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, and Notebooks.
  • Build scalable data architectures using medallion Bronze/Silver/Gold patterns and lakehouse models.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
  • Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources including SQL Server, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Design semantic models and data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Build optimized facts, dimensions, and relationships for Power BI reporting.
  • Enable Direct Lake and real-time analytics scenarios while improving reporting performance.
  • Work directly with US stakeholders to gather requirements, run solution walkthroughs, and discuss designs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide status updates, demos, and technical input.
  • Define Fabric-based data architectures and apply data governance, data quality, security, performance, and cost best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric or a modern analytics stack.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Fabric Lakehouse, Data Factory, and Dataflows/Pipelines.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling and star/snowflake schemas.
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and distributed processing systems.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and deployment pipelines.
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience with US stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Direct Lake and real-time intelligence scenarios.
  • Preferred exposure to API integrations and application-level data consumption.
  • Preferred certifications in Microsoft Azure, Fabric, or Power BI.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare, retail, or finance domains.
  • Preferred exposure to AI/ML integration within the Fabric ecosystem.
  • Preferred experience in consulting or delivery-led environments.
  • Preferred familiarity with Agile delivery models.
