Description

  • Translate SPI and system-level requirements into technical designs and production implementations.
  • Build and maintain Python-based services and AWS data pipelines for metrics and validation workflows.
  • Collaborate with requirements, systems, and validation teams to implement safety and performance metrics accurately.
  • Process and analyze vehicle telemetry and validation data to generate system signals.
  • Implement release validation logic for automated testing and evaluation pipelines.
  • Debug and resolve issues across data pipelines, telemetry flows, and metric computation systems.
  • Contribute to workflow orchestration and automation using Temporal or similar tools.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and engineering process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 3+ years, or PhD plus 1+ years.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Strong experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, and Step Functions.
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or backend systems.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous or high-level requirements into working software.
  • Experience debugging complex systems using logs, telemetry, and data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration tools (preferred).
  • Experience working with telemetry, event data, or time-series datasets (preferred).
  • Automotive or autonomous systems experience (preferred).
  • Experience building validation, metrics, or release-related systems (preferred).
  • Exposure to safety-critical or high-reliability environments (preferred).

  • US pay range of $160,800 to $193,000.
