Description

  • Set up and manage the recruitment pipeline, including posting job ads on multiple portals.
  • Source and network with potential candidates through social media, virtual events, and professional groups.
  • Screen applicant profiles, conduct interviews, and decide whether candidates advance to the next hiring stage.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment and Staffing Manager and department heads to define qualifications for each role.
  • Maintain a candidate and employee database for current and future vacancies.
  • Use web-based tools and social media to monitor hiring trends, post openings, and follow up with candidates.
  • Analyze recruitment software and agency performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Guide candidates through the application process and track their progress in the system.
  • Support onboarding of selected candidates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a recruiter for U.S. hires.
  • Experience recruiting high-volume candidates, such as 100+ per month.
  • Must be willing to work the night shift and on a Pacific Standard Time schedule.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with major job sites.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using Workable is preferred.
  • Experience hiring educators is preferred.
  • Experience expanding recruitment initiatives to attract more candidates is preferred.
  • Must have a laptop or desktop with at least 8GB RAM and a Core i5 or above.
  • Must have an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
