Description

  • Enter revenue tracking data into designated Excel workbooks using established templates and instructions.
  • Maintain workbook integrity by placing data in the correct tabs and fields, preserving formulas and links, and applying required formatting and naming conventions.
  • Collect recurring utility consolidated billing artifacts such as payment reports, credit reports, and supporting source reports.
  • Store and organize reports in centralized repositories like SharePoint or OneDrive using defined folder structures, naming standards, and retention expectations.
  • Ensure tie-out readiness by confirming source reports are complete, saved in the correct locations, and linked or accessible for internal reviewers.
  • Conduct structured discrepancy checks by comparing source reports to uploaded or recorded data and documenting mismatches, missing values, or formatting errors.
  • Perform defined validation checks, including completeness, formatting, and cross-file comparisons based on written instructions.
  • Maintain trackers for report receipt, processing status, exceptions, and completion dates.
  • Communicate status updates and escalate blockers such as late reports, portal download issues, corrupted files, or unclear templates.
  • Flag issues with clear supporting evidence such as screenshots, row references, report page numbers, and timestamps.

Requirements

  • Extremely detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage recurring intake cycles, file storage conventions, and multiple workstreams in parallel.
  • Proven experience in high-volume data entry, preferably with financial, billing, or revenue-related datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, tables, basic formulas such as SUM, IF, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, text-to-columns, and formatting.
  • Experience with copy/paste and structured transformations such as re-mapping columns, standardizing formats, and de-duplicating data.
  • Comfort working within standardized workbook templates without breaking formulas or references.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint/OneDrive, with disciplined file and version management.
  • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and validation checklists precisely with minimal deviation.
  • Strong documentation habits, including clear notes, trackers, and audit-friendly logs of received, entered, and updated items.
  • Ability to compare source documents to system outputs, identify discrepancies, isolate likely root causes, and know when to escalate exceptions.
  • Professional handling of sensitive revenue and customer-related information with basic data confidentiality awareness.
  • Reliable performance in deadline-driven, recurring monthly and weekly reporting cycles.
  • Willingness to work Eastern Time night shift from a 100% remote setup.
  • Equipment readiness, including a laptop and headset, for a smooth remote start.
