Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track legal agreements including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, and amendments.
  • Establish processes and procedures for site contract management across the organization.
  • Negotiate site budgets and other client contracts as needed.
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to business teams on the operational impact of contract terms.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Communicate contract negotiation and execution status to study team members.
  • Track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Coordinate agreement execution, expirations, obligations, and contract file maintenance.
  • Support contract archiving and help design and implement policies to improve timely contract execution.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, or 4-year college degree; equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare discipline may be considered.
  • Previous CRO experience is required.
  • 5+ years of oncology experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements and site budget negotiations.
  • Experience leading interactions with institutions in the US, Europe, APAC, or other regions.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Preferred degree in law, scientific fields, business administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Excellent organizational, written communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience setting up contracting plans and guides for CTA and budget negotiations is preferred.
  • Experience with Kick-Off Meetings (KOM), Bid Defense Meetings (BDM), and collaboration with CRAs, Start-up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software programs and computer applications.
