Description

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and track legal agreements including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, and amendments.
  • Establish process and procedures for overall site contract management within the organization.
  • Negotiate site budgets and other client contracts.
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to business teams on the operational implications of contract terms.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
  • Update study team members on the status of contract negotiations and execution.
  • Establish, track, report, and manage site contract metrics.
  • Coordinate agreement execution and track expirations and other contractual obligations.
  • Maintain contract files and databases, including contract archiving.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to support timely contract execution.
  • Identify process improvements and take corrective action as needed.
  • Mentor new SCMs and other Precision for Medicine staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate, postgraduate, or 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • Previous CRO experience.
  • 5+ years of oncology experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating site Clinical Trial Agreements and site budget negotiations.
  • Experience leading interactions with institutions in the US, Europe, APAC, or other regions.
  • Experience leading interactions with study teams and sponsors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, scientific fields, business administration, or an equivalent degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail preferred.
  • Experience setting up contracting plans and guides for CTA and budget negotiations preferred.
  • Experience with Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) and Bid Defense Meetings (BDM) preferred.
  • Successful relationship management with study teams and/or CRAs, Start-up Associates, or (S)BSCAs to meet study timelines preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software programs and computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a virtual setting.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle time-sensitive matters with accuracy.
  • High professionalism, discretion, and sound business judgment.
