Description

  • Serve as the primary client lead after proposal acceptance and maintain day-to-day client relationships.
  • Manage existing client opportunities and support organic growth within assigned accounts.
  • Develop client agendas, slide presentations, project briefs, and scopes of work.
  • Lead or support client calls with internal experts, faculty, and content specialists to guide content direction.
  • Provide project management direction to support teams and coordinate project plans, milestones, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor budgets, reconciliations, labor hours, direct costs, fees, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, status updates, and financial reports for clients and internal teams.
  • Lead internal teams, mentor junior account staff, and conduct performance reviews and development planning as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with PhRMA, FDA, OIG, and ACCME guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and contribute original ideas for tactical planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of account experience within a pharmaceutical or medical communications company.
  • Daily client-facing experience is required.
  • Medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% depending on client needs.
  • Leadership, results-oriented, detail-oriented, customer-focused, flexible, forward-thinking, and relationship-building competencies.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising account team members is preferred.
  • Familiarity with proposal templates, budget tools, and cross-functional agency workflows is preferred.
