Description

  • Support the Finance Director with day-to-day finance operations and wider business interactions.
  • Own company credit card and expenses processing, including data entry and reconciliations.
  • Collect receipts and analyze expenditure using Excel for accurate recording in the accounting system and project system.
  • Manage employee expense claims, including correct coding, approval, payment, and query resolution.
  • Provide finance administration support for the project system (CMap), including converting won projects to live status.
  • Support the preparation, distribution, and accounting entry of sales invoices to clients.
  • Prepare purchase orders to suppliers for projects following approval.
  • Ensure project costs are accurately reflected and reconcile them monthly against the accounting records with the Finance Director.
  • Help manage the finance inbox and resolve assigned queries and tasks.
  • Run weekly timesheet reports using established templates for wider business distribution.

Requirements

  • Ability to accurately enter data, code transactions, and reconcile records.
  • Experience using Excel for expenditure analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting records and finance administrative processes.
  • Experience working with project systems such as CMap (preferred).
  • Ability to manage inbox queries and handle multiple administrative tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to secure filing and archiving practices.
  • Understanding of legal requirements, health and safety, information security, and business ethics.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work under direction from the Finance Director or VP, Finance Director.
