Description

  • Support the Finance Director with the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
  • Take ownership of company credit card transactions, including receipt collection, expenditure analysis, data entry, and reconciliations.
  • Manage employee expense claims, ensuring correct coding, approval, and payment processing.
  • Handle queries related to credit card and expense transactions and input project costs into the project system.
  • Provide finance administrative support for the project system (CMap), including converting won projects to live status.
  • Prepare, distribute, and record client sales invoices from the project system.
  • Prepare purchase orders to suppliers for projects after approval.
  • Reconcile project costs each month against the accounting records with the Finance Director.
  • Help manage the finance inbox and resolve allocated queries and tasks.
  • Run weekly timesheet reports using established templates and share them with internal colleagues.
  • Maintain secure filing and archiving practices in line with company procedures and office standards.

Requirements

  • Experience working in finance administration or a similar support role.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, coding, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with Excel for expenditure analysis and reporting.
  • Experience working with accounting records and transactional finance processes.
  • Experience using project systems, ideally CMap, or similar systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple queries and administrative tasks in a busy finance environment.
  • Understanding of legal, health and safety, information security, and business ethics requirements.
  • Ability to follow established processes and work under direction from the Finance Director.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.
