Description

  • Support content development for the Clinical Services department across multiple large accounts and books of business.
  • Independently lead department initiatives such as onboarding, student recruitment, and innovation efforts.
  • Act as a mediator and resolve escalated issues between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the medical lead for brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans for assigned accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure account-specific Clinical Services standard operating procedures are developed, maintained, and followed.
  • Conduct Clinical Services training for both account-level and department-level needs.
  • Plan and allocate resources across accounts and workstreams based on business needs.
  • Provide timely feedback, coaching, and development support to direct and indirect reports.
  • Supervise 6+ Clinical Services team members, including senior and medical director-level staff.
  • Promote and adhere to Precision AQ workplace values and principles.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in life sciences or a BA/BS in English with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in the medical communications, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in managed markets promotional content development.
  • Strong command of American Medical Association (AMA) style.
  • Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong proficiency with scientific search engines, including PubMed and Google Scholar.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High analytic ability and strong organizational, self-management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for managed care audiences and prioritize deadline-sensitive projects.
  • Advanced degree in life sciences such as PharmD or PhD is preferred.
  • Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature and insights data is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of managed markets, healthcare delivery systems, health reform legislation, or managed care experience (HMO, MCO, PBM, etc.) is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $150,000 to $216,000 USD.
