Description

  • Lead client accounts of up to £400K revenue and own the overall client/agency relationship.
  • Set strategic direction for client briefs from kickoff through campaign and project completion.
  • Run client meetings and internal team meetings, ensuring clear priorities and alignment.
  • Manage team resources, performance, and professional development, including line management of junior team members.
  • Maintain quality control by checking deliverables for accuracy before they are sent to clients.
  • Oversee account profitability through budgeting, monitoring hours against budget, and securing additional budget where possible.
  • Track project timelines, prioritization, invoicing, revenue recognition, forecasting, and budget reconciliations.
  • Report financial, resource, and team data to senior leadership, finance, and HR as needed.
  • Develop annual account plans and review meetings to support client strategy and satisfaction.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through client relationships, referrals, and pitch participation.

Requirements

  • Experience managing client accounts and leading client/agency relationships, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Ability to manage accounts up to £400K revenue with responsibility for profitability and growth.
  • Strong strategic and commercial thinking for briefs, pitches, and business development.
  • Experience managing teams, resources, and junior staff performance and development.
  • Working knowledge of the therapeutic landscape relevant to client accounts.
  • Understanding of relevant codes of practice and legislation for communication with HCPs, payers, patients, third-party groups, and the public.
  • Knowledge of financial processes including budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, revenue recognition, and budget reconciliation.
  • Ability to travel to client meetings as required.
