Description

  • Lead change order budget creation with project management, functional leads, and financial analysts.
  • Develop, explain, and provide variance analysis for change orders before client presentation.
  • Track and maintain change order requests to support departmental metrics and record keeping.
  • Participate in internal and client calls on a routine basis, including alignment calls.
  • Review budget assumption changes and identify information gaps, discrepancies, and unique service requirements.
  • Translate project information into accurate budgets and change order documents.
  • Prepare, edit, and customize change order text to reflect strategic messaging, budget summaries, resourcing changes, and financial requirements.
  • Incorporate vendor and partner change orders into the main change order while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure assumptions, process descriptions, and changes from prior agreements are clearly stated and accurate.
  • Perform financial formula checks, cross-checks, and testing to ensure change order accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, finance/accounting, or a related business field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal and/or change order preparation using an Excel-based costing tool.
  • Experience preparing change order and contract documents.
  • Working knowledge of project budgets and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience in the CRO industry preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form and build relationships across the organization.
