Description

  • Lead the growth and development of Value Demonstration and Economic Modeling services and talent within the HEOR and Evidence Generation teams.
  • Set business strategy and contribute to senior leadership initiatives that support colleague engagement, operational excellence, and business growth.
  • Collaborate across multiple business units to execute strategy and improve service delivery.
  • Provide leadership for evidence-strategy planning, economic modeling, real-world evidence, and related services for global biopharmaceutical clients.
  • Coordinate project prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery with project and resource leaders.
  • Drive business growth within existing HEOR services and expand related service lines.
  • Achieve revenue and sales targets through direct client engagement and support client management, project delivery, and sales activities.
  • Build new business opportunities and maintain long-term client partnerships by proposing technical and strategic solutions.
  • Manage multiple client accounts and associated revenue.
  • Identify, develop, retain, coach, and mentor VDEM staff, including onboarding and career development planning.

Requirements

  • 10-12+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in a consulting environment.
  • Postgraduate degree preferred, such as a PhD, MD, or PharmD.
  • Master’s degree in a related field such as health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry and payer evidence requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience in HEOR publications, business development, consulting, and/or team leadership.
  • Expert ability to review and interpret data outputs and results and develop publications and/or presentations.
  • Experience developing pharmacoeconomic and value-demonstration models, including budget impact, cost-effectiveness, and cost-consequence models.
  • Understanding of evidence synthesis, comparative effectiveness, utility modeling/mapping, and trial-based analyses.
  • Ability to explain study rationale, methods, results, and strategy to project teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and technical writing skills.
  • Understanding of commercialization services needed to support a successful life sciences product launch.
