Description

  • Act as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients and ensure work stays strategically on target.
  • Help clients define and achieve business goals.
  • Prepare annual strategic and tactical plans for each client and create campaign or project plans as needed throughout the year.
  • Manage and strengthen client relationships.
  • Propose, sell, and oversee ideas and projects aligned to client objectives.
  • Continuously bring forward unsolicited ideas to improve client brand and company activities.
  • Initiate and oversee Precision AQ work on behalf of clients.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication on strategy and planning.
  • Closely manage client budgets and team efficiency to maximize return for both clients and Precision AQ.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and coach internal team members while building team effectiveness and development.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and report on client relationship status to company leadership.
  • Stay current on developments in clients’ industries, including science, competitors, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in advertising, marketing, communications, or journalism; other majors will be considered.
  • Advanced degree such as a PhD, MD, or PharmD in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine, or an advanced degree in management, marketing, or business is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency experience.
  • Experience successfully managing and growing $1M+ pharma/healthcare accounts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • PowerPoint design proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing objectives and medical communications strategy and tactics.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted strategic/business advisor to marketers and other managers.
  • Experience leading and managing employees, growing client relationships, and managing expanding business opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with demanding timelines.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients and thought leaders across a variety of therapeutic areas.
  • Ability to interpret market dynamics, scientific information, clinical and preclinical data, and business metrics.
