Description

  • Serve as the primary client lead after proposal acceptance and maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop client agendas, slide presentations, project briefs, and scopes of work for clients and internal teams.
  • Lead and support client calls with LMR, faculty, and content experts to guide content and project direction.
  • Review, prepare, and send status and contact reports following client interactions.
  • Direct support teams on all aspects of project management to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Manage projects using internal briefs, proposal templates, and budget tools while coordinating milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build project plans, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead and mentor junior account team members and, when applicable, supervise direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
  • Support business development by identifying market opportunities and organic growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop proposals, budgets, reconciliations, and budget status updates while monitoring labor and direct costs.
  • Maintain quality control standards and ensure adherence to PhRMA, FDA, OIG, and ACCME guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an account role within a pharmaceutical or medical communications company.
  • Daily client-facing experience is required.
  • Medical, legal, and regulatory review experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% depending on client needs.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior account team members is preferred.
  • Competencies should include leadership, results orientation, attention to detail, customer focus, flexibility, forward thinking, and relationship building.

  • Base salary range of $92,000 to $128,000 USD.
