Description

  • Serve as the primary lead for clients after proposal acceptance and maintain ongoing client relationships.
  • Manage existing client opportunities and identify organic growth within assigned accounts.
  • Develop client agendas, slide presentations, project briefs, and scopes of work.
  • Lead or support client calls with LMR, faculty, and content experts to guide content and direction.
  • Prepare and send status and contact reports after client interactions.
  • Direct project management efforts to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project plans, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Lead and mentor account team members and, where applicable, manage direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
  • Develop proposals, budgets, reconciliations, and budget status updates for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with PhRMA, FDA, OIG, and ACCME guidelines and maintain quality control of client materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related subject.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an account role within a pharmaceutical or medical communications company.
  • Daily client-facing experience is required.
  • Medical-legal-regulatory review experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% depending on client needs.
  • Leadership, results-oriented, detail-oriented, customer-focused, flexible, forward-thinking, and relationship-building competencies.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising account team members is preferred.
  • Experience developing proposals, budgets, and financial reconciliations is preferred.
