Description

Support monthly project accounting, including documenting project status meetings and updating financial trackers.
Set up new projects in time-and-expense systems and verify project documentation against Salesforce.
Update project files and financial trackers for change orders, budget adjustments, carve-outs, milestones, and tasks.
Record intercompany revenue and cost transactions and maintain shared financial trackers.
Review project hours, expenses, billing roles, and rates; investigate discrepancies.
Prepare client invoices based on contracts, maintain invoicing waterfalls where applicable, and follow up on overdue invoices.
Assist with monthly client accruals and track project costs against contracted amounts, forecasts, and budgets.
Track employee and subcontractor hours, billing rates, and expenses against forecasts and budgets.
Prepare routine monthly general ledger reconciliations and collaborate with the SG&A team.
Support annual budgeting, ad hoc finance projects, and annual audit document requests.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, or business.
0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Agency or professional services experience preferred.
Month-end close experience preferred.
Revenue recognition experience preferred.
Project accounting experience preferred.
Client services or client-facing experience preferred.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, interpretive, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage large volumes of information, multitask with attention to detail, communicate effectively, and handle confidential information with integrity.
