Description

  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, demos, proof-of-value activities, and RFP responses.
  • Evaluate client requests during the sales process and recommend feasible solution pathways.
  • Work with clients to understand business requirements, processes, and technical needs.
  • Define solution scope and integration approach between Power Factors applications and client systems.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and internal technical teams to develop customized enterprise proposals.
  • Lead technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations with prospects and customers.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact and liaison between clients, product, and engineering teams.
  • Provide training and support during proof-of-value and implementation activities.
  • Collect client feedback to inform product development and future solution improvements.
  • Represent Power Factors at industry events and trade shows and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy industry.
  • Experience in technical product management, project management, business process development, software development, and/or IoT and networking solutions.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale renewable energy, with hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Solar PV, and Wind asset management.
  • Experience working with software platforms and digital solutions used by IPPs, investors, asset owners, asset managers, and other renewable energy stakeholders.
  • Proven experience collaborating with utilities, EPCs, third-party O&M providers, IPPs, asset owners, asset managers, and hardware/software vendors.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, manage competing priorities, and drive decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Process-oriented with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
