Description

  • Design, build, and maintain ingestion pipelines, data models, data marts, and serving layers.
  • Handle advertising-platform API changes, rate limits, deprecated fields, and retroactive conversion restatements.
  • Reconcile marketing data across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and client CRMs.
  • Develop client-specific models and marts while extending the shared core data foundation.
  • Build semantic layers and metric definitions that support reliable AI-generated SQL.
  • Use and document AI-agentic workflows and coding tools to accelerate development.
  • Collaborate with client, BI, Data Ops, tagging, nova product, engineering, and AI teams.
  • Monitor data quality and optimize pipeline cost, performance, and reliability.
  • Deliver production data assets and evaluate whether new modeling logic belongs in the shared core or client layer.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of data or analytics engineering experience, including 1+ year owning a meaningful production dbt project.
  • Advanced Python and SQL proficiency for production data pipelines and modeling.
  • Deep dbt expertise, including incremental strategies, Jinja, macros, packages, testing, snapshots, freshness, exposures, DAGs, and materializations.
  • Strong Snowflake and cloud data-stack expertise.
  • Experience with multi-tenant data environments and end-to-end data lifecycles.
  • Working knowledge of marketing datasets, UTMs, attribution windows, and platform-versus-warehouse conversions.
  • Familiarity with GCP and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Hands-on use of AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience designing AI-ready models, semantic layers, or feature stores.
  • Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and iterative delivery experience.
  • Advanced spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Preferred: agency or consultancy experience, measurement and attribution work, server-side tagging, or retail and marketplace data experience.
