Description

  • Develop go-to-market strategy for new customer segments, product launches, and future partner launches.
  • Build customer and market understanding through primary research, funnel analysis, advisor call reviews, and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Own segment prioritization by determining which audiences can be won profitably and where to invest.
  • Individually conduct analysis, develop positioning, and work hands-on with channel teams on campaign execution.
  • Design and run go-to-market experiments to validate segments, messaging, and channels at small scale.
  • Decide what to scale, iterate, or discontinue based on data and experimentation results.
  • Create playbooks from successful experiments so broader teams can execute and repeat them.
  • Strengthen positioning and customer voice for high-performing product lines in partnership with content and paid teams.
  • Coordinate launch readiness with Product, Sales, and Operations to support new product rollouts.
  • Build context on B2B2C partner programs to support future partner launches.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, growth/strategy at a high-growth startup, or brand/category management at a top CPG company.
  • Ideally some operating experience at a startup or scale-up.
  • Strong analytical ability to structure ambiguous problems, perform analysis independently, and turn it into clear recommendations.
  • Track record of solving difficult problems and persisting until they are resolved.
  • Strong customer instinct and willingness to speak directly with customers rather than rely only on assumptions.
  • Comfort building models as needed to support decisions.
  • Hands-on, doer mindset with the ability to operate without delegation support.
  • AI-native approach, using AI daily to research, analyze, and produce faster.
  • Comfort owning a number and being measured against it quarterly.
  • Strong communication skills to align executives, channel owners, and product teams.
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • No insurance experience required; curiosity and work ethic are more important.
