Description

  • Manage a caseload of in-progress applications through the underwriting process.
  • Use HubSpot and Front to complete daily task queues and stay on top of workflow items.
  • Coordinate medical exam bookings with vendors and clients, including follow-up as needed.
  • Order and track underwriting requirements such as APS and MVRs.
  • Handle inbound calls and respond to client emails in a timely manner.
  • Track missed payments and help clients update billing information.
  • Report underwriting decisions to the Medical Information Bureau (MIB).
  • Process policy change requests, including address updates and beneficiary changes.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit the weekly MIB report.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Advisors, QA, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
  • Provide feedback and participate in process and tooling improvement discussions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in insurance, customer service, or call center roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Comfort using multiple systems and quickly learning new tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Integrity and reliability, with pride in doing work accurately.
  • A proactive mindset and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Availability to work standard hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with flexibility to support Pacific Time hours as business needs evolve.
  • Experience with insurance operations, underwriting support, or policy servicing is preferred.
