Description

  • Manage a caseload of in-progress life insurance applications through the underwriting process.
  • Use tools like HubSpot and Front to complete daily task queues and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Coordinate and follow up on medical exam bookings with vendors and clients.
  • Order and track underwriting requirements (e.g., APS, MVRs) and report underwriting decisions to the Medical Information Bureau (MIB).
  • Handle inbound calls and respond to client emails, including tracking missed payments and helping clients update billing information.
  • Process policy change requests such as address updates and beneficiary changes.
  • Submit the weekly MIB report and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Advisors, QA, Sales, and Customer Service and participate in process and tooling improvement discussions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in insurance, customer service, or call center roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in both French and English (bilingual).
  • Comfortable using multiple systems and learning new tools quickly (e.g., HubSpot, Front).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused mindset with a drive to go above and beyond.
  • Integrity and reliability with pride in doing things right.
  • A proactive mindset and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Availability for standard working hours (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET) with flexibility to support Pacific Time hours as business needs evolve.

  • Total target cash compensation of $55,000–$66,000 CAD (based on experience).
