Description

  • Monitor, assess, and report security incidents from the SIEM platform on a daily basis.
  • Manage the installation, maintenance, and operation of security infrastructure including SIEM, anti-virus, DLP, PAM, and IAM tools.
  • Perform threat risk assessments on infrastructure, systems, and cloud-based solutions and coordinate remediation with operational teams.
  • Automate existing workflows using AI tools, automation frameworks, workflow management solutions, and scripting.
  • Assist with the vulnerability management program by running routine scans and coordinating remediation with SaaS Operations and Corporate Technology teams.
  • Evaluate security tools, configurations, processes, and policies and recommend improvements to the Director of Security Operations.
  • Tune security alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection quality.
  • Support incident response activities by documenting findings, root causes, and relevant threat or alert analysis.
  • Work with business groups across the organization to maintain a proactive company-wide security presence.
  • Act as a technical lead on security-related projects and initiatives to improve overall security posture.

Requirements

  • Experience working with security software and tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, privilege access management, and data loss prevention.
  • Working technical knowledge of IP, TCP/IP, network administration protocols, access control methods, WAFs, firewalls, and virtualized access control solutions.
  • Understanding of Windows, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and Apple operating systems.
  • Comfort working alongside agentic AI systems in security operations, including triaging alerts and validating autonomous actions.
  • Basic understanding of large language models, including prompt construction, context management, and critical interpretation of outputs.
  • Ability to write simple skills or playbooks in YAML, JSON, or platform-native DSLs.
  • Exposure to MCP or similar tool-integration frameworks for connecting AI agents to external security tools.
  • Familiarity with security automation concepts, API-based integrations, and basic scripting, with Python preferred.
  • Experience with Python and PowerShell, including Linux administration and bash/shell scripting.
  • Ability to work independently, engage leadership as needed, and proactively advance the security posture.
  • Extensive working knowledge of information security, vulnerabilities, threats, security best practices, tools, techniques, and encryption.
