Description

  • Architect, deploy, and manage highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Maintain and scale infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitOps workflows with Atlantis.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and delivery pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
  • Manage networking perimeters, service mesh configurations, and API gateway traffic for secure application delivery.
  • Implement observability through telemetry, log aggregation, alerting, and incident response practices.
  • Enforce security controls, identity management, secret storage, and compliance standards such as SOC2.
  • Participate in the operational on-call rotation and support production stability.
  • Drive automation and operational improvements across cloud and Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

  • Senior or lead-level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE.
  • Expert-level Terraform experience with GitOps workflows at scale, specifically using Atlantis.
  • Strong experience designing and maintaining multi-stage automated deployment pipelines.
  • High proficiency with Istio and API gateways, especially Kong.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security and secret management tools including Auth0, Dex, ESO, SOPS, VPC-SC, and IAM.
  • Solid operational familiarity with Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, and in-cluster datastores such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse.
  • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Experience with Ansible for host configuration, cluster bootstrapping, and disaster recovery is preferred.
  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA/CKS are preferred.
  • Experience with Loki, Grafana, or ClickHouse for centralized logging and metrics is preferred.
