Description

  • Own and drive revenue performance for Plaid’s Payments solutions, with accountability for ARR growth, pipeline generation, and deal execution.
  • Maintain a rigorous revenue forecast for Payments solutions to ensure visibility, accuracy, and predictable performance.
  • Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team aligned to revenue goals and scalable sales execution.
  • Act as an executive seller and market expert in high-impact customer conversations, strategic engagements, and industry events.
  • Coach and develop sales talent through live deal coaching, high standards, and preparation for expanded leadership roles.
  • Coach sellers to lead with insight, reframe customer payments strategies, and uncover new and expansion revenue opportunities.
  • Track product-market fit across segments, verticals, and geographies and partner cross-functionally to identify growth levers.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to sales and product leadership on go-to-market strategy for Payments solutions.
  • Identify structural, systems, and process gaps that limit revenue scale and work with GTM and Product teams to improve them.
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning by setting revenue targets and defining strategy, resources, and execution plans.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant market experience in payments-focused solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a revenue-driving team.
  • Deep knowledge of payments, including ACH, credit cards, payment risk, and money movement.
  • Experience with territory and account management, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders and executives, including C-suite audiences.
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment and helping build processes and scale product growth.
  • Experience with value engineering, services/partner engagement, and large-dollar licensing deals.
  • Preferred: Experience influencing without direct authority in ambiguous environments.

Benefits

  • Target base salary of $116,736 to $220,050 per year, depending on location.
  • Commission eligibility in addition to base salary.
