Description

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure for business-critical applications and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure meets their needs and is easy to use.
  • Work with the security team to maintain compliance and a strong security posture.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support.
  • Help set the foundations that enable fast, autonomous work across engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP; AWS or Azure experience is transferable.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools and practices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience managing CI/CD systems.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog and/or OpenTelemetry is preferred.
  • TypeScript and/or Golang experience is beneficial but less critical.
  • Ability to provision and debug disparate systems independently, even without prior familiarity.
  • A strong technical foundation and the ability to use skills across a technically diverse environment.
  • No specific tenure with any technology is required, but sufficient proficiency to explore and use tools independently.
