Description

  • Own and drive end-to-end technical programs from problem definition and design through execution, launch, and iteration.
  • Coordinate work across ML/AI research, infrastructure, and product engineering teams, aligning goals, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Design and run operating rhythms such as planning, reviews, launch readiness, and post-mortems.
  • Partner with engineering and research leads to evaluate technical designs, trade-offs, and risks and drive decisions.
  • Manage experimentation and evaluation workflows, including offline and online analysis, to determine whether to scale, iterate, or stop.
  • Build and improve tools, processes, and communication mechanisms that support effective multi-team execution.
  • Use data and metrics to track program health, identify bottlenecks, and adjust scope and plans proactively.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support collaboration across Engineering, Research, Product, and Data Science on complex initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a hands-on technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or equivalent technical leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with ML/AI and/or infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Ability to understand system architectures, data flows, and model/infrastructure trade-offs.
  • Experience using program management tools such as Google Sheets and Jira.
  • Ability to use AI tooling to create automated tracking and reporting solutions.
  • Proficiency with SQL to analyze data, create dashboards, and inform decisions.
  • Strong technical breadth and judgment with the ability to ramp quickly on new technologies and identify technical risks.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional programs from inception through launch, including scope, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Comfort operating in fast-changing, high-ambiguity environments, including research-heavy or platform-oriented teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building and influence skills across Engineering, Research, Product, and Data Science.
  • Experience building or evolving processes and operating rhythms for technical teams is a plus.

  • Base salary range of $103,965 to $214,044 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
