Description

  • Scale decision-making infrastructure for the tvScientific AI team across workflows, training infrastructure, and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Improve the developer experience for the data science team.
  • Upgrade and strengthen observability tooling.
  • Make deployments smoother and more reliable as the infrastructure evolves.
  • Design systems that remain fast and predictable under load.
  • Define and harden the foundation for the training and serving stack, including storage, indexing, streaming, fanout, backpressure, and failure handling.
  • Work closely with software engineering, data infrastructure, and SRE partners to keep systems observable, debuggable, and operable in production.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Linux.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • A systems-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in high-performance software environments such as RTB or HFT.
  • Software engineering experience plus reliability/CI/CD expertise.
  • Strong observability instincts.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow.
  • Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work, including testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
  • High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
  • Nice-to-have: reverse-engineering experience.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Terraform, EKS, or MLOps.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Python, Scala, or Zig.
  • Nice-to-have: NixOS experience.
  • Nice-to-have: adtech or CTV experience.
  • Nice-to-have: experience deploying distributed systems across multiple clouds.
  • Nice-to-have: experience in hard real-time low-latency environments under 10 ms.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $123,696 to $254,667 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
