Description

  • Support business teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Japan and help improve solution-level business metrics and POC success rates.
  • Research and assess global new economy verticals such as gaming, e-commerce, fintech, and SaaS to identify market opportunities and industry-specific use cases.
  • Develop and implement scenario-based industry solutions that fit customer business and data architecture needs.
  • Advise customers on architectures, patterns, and strategies for getting the best use of TiDB.
  • Research emerging data technologies and produce high-quality technical content and solution materials.
  • Build internal and external industry influence through technical sharing, evangelism, and best-practice dissemination.
  • Guide field teams and customers by proactively exploring data architecture needs and supporting solution design.
  • Work with customers, especially large accounts, and lead architecture discussions and solution innovation efforts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience, with deep expertise in at least one database or big data technology stack and product.
  • Broad knowledge of data technology, including RDBMS, distributed systems, and cloud-native data technologies.
  • Strong understanding of industry business scenarios and SaaS business models and data architecture.
  • Proven experience abstracting scenarios and aligning them with data architecture.
  • Track record of presenting internally and externally, enabling field teams, and guiding solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience selling databases and deploying applications with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Outstanding communication and program presentation skills.
  • Strong curiosity and a continuous learning mindset in database, cloud computing, big data, and emerging technologies.

  • Annual base salary range of USD $125,000 to $217,000 for U.S. candidates.
