Description

  • Review and process completed audit worksheets from field, phone, mail, and virtual audits to verify compliance with business rules and regulatory guidelines.
  • Process routine audit adjustments and endorsements within assigned authority limits, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Identify correct classifications using PAAS, NCCI, and state-specific tools across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Communicate audit results and future policy changes to insureds and agents via email before billing occurs.
  • Coordinate smooth transitions from audit completion to billing and document customer agreements and payment arrangements.
  • Maintain proper documentation of state regulations, premium audit standards, and handoff details.
  • Provide feedback on evolving procedures and document best practices for training and process improvement.
  • Support implementation of new technologies and process innovations.
  • Meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Build positive customer relationships while delivering complex or potentially unwelcome information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience as a premium auditor or premium audit reviewer.
  • Experience with Workers' Compensation.
  • Knowledge of NCCI, WCIRB, and PCRB/DCRB rules and regulations preferred.
  • Experience with standard audit operations.
  • Customer service experience in insurance or financial services environments preferred.
  • Understanding of premium audit procedures and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency with classification systems such as PAAS and NCCI, plus state-specific tools.
  • Experience with audit software systems and Google Workspace applications.
  • Basic billing and payment processing knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze accounting records and payroll documentation.
