Description

  • Review architectural floor plans and accurately identify and measure windows.
  • Enter measurements and project details into Excel-based estimating spreadsheets.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, bids, and client-provided submission forms using pricing information.
  • Verify estimate accuracy and coordinate with the internal team during training.
  • Take increasing ownership of the estimating process as product and process knowledge develops.
  • Assist with installation scheduling, project timelines, customer updates, and production communications.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project records and business information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline operational processes.
  • Provide general administrative and record-keeping support as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfort working with numbers, measurements, spreadsheets, and pricing.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans or technical drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Ability to learn specialized software, products, and estimating processes quickly.
  • Strong organization, multitasking, initiative, and independent working skills.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to meet defined turnaround-time expectations.
  • Relevant experience in window treatments, construction, interior design, estimating, project coordination, administration, measurements, pricing, or home automation is beneficial.
  • Experience with Coda/Superhuman Docs or Wave Invoicing is advantageous.
