Description

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install CNC machines at customer locations across Virginia.
  • Serve as the primary field expert for CNC equipment service and support.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure their equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver professional on-site service.
  • Continuously learn new technologies and stay current on CNC and machine tool advancements.
  • Track expenses and complete maintenance-related paperwork accurately.
  • Travel throughout Virginia, up to 80% of the month, for Monday through Friday assignments.
  • Operate from a home base and use the company-provided van for field work.

Requirements

  • Experience with CNC machines or strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
  • A mechatronics, machining, or engineering certificate or degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Industry experience is valued, especially in place of formal education.
  • Hydraulics and/or pneumatics knowledge is helpful but not necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the month, Monday through Friday, from a Virginia residence.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with customers professionally.
  • Ability to keep track of expenses and manage maintenance paperwork.
