Description

  • Partner with the regional account manager to support business development across New England.
  • Prospect high-fit accounts and open new sales opportunities for additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert early interest into a strong pipeline.
  • Conduct consultative discovery calls to match customers with the right application and solution fit.
  • Engage education-focused accounts and early-stage adopters of additive technologies.
  • Close entry-level, educational, and post-processing opportunities.
  • Identify when accounts are ready for larger industrial scaling and hand off complex opportunities to Regional Account Managers.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and manage sales activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with applications teams, OEM partners, and clients to support the sales process.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of outside industrial or manufacturing sales experience.
  • Experience supporting the sale of capital equipment, manufacturing technology, automation, software-enabled hardware, or technical services.
  • Comfort with traveling throughout a defined territory and meeting clients regularly.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering, additive/3D printing, or a similar technical field.
  • Understanding of manufacturers, engineering teams, production environments, and technical buying committees.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, energy, contract manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong CRM discipline and comfort using CRM tools to manage pipeline and activity.
  • Passion for continuous technical learning and a collaborative working style.
