Description

  • Review and verify state-issued licenses and credentials for new and existing clinicians using state board resources.
  • Ensure all professionals meet state requirements to accept referrals in their licensed states.
  • Accurately document verification outcomes and maintain records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Update clinician profiles promptly to reflect verified status.
  • Monitor and report discrepancies or unethical conduct in user profiles.
  • Support clinicians by clarifying licensing requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to resolve verification issues.
  • Provide courteous, professional support to clinicians throughout the verification process.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in credentialing, compliance, or a related role, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of state licensing requirements for behavioral health professionals such as social workers, counselors, and psychologists.
  • Ability to review and interpret licensing regulations, statutes, and guidance documents to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in online research and information retrieval, with advanced search techniques as a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Alignment with principles of trust, integrity, and patient-centric care.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
