Description

  • Own technical strategy, architecture, planning, and implementation for complex Power BI engagements.
  • Design and develop enterprise Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and analytical experiences.
  • Establish standards for modeling, performance, security, governance, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Lead analytics modernization, migration, report rationalization, remediation, UAT, and release activities.
  • Contribute to Sigma implementations and translate analytical logic between Power BI and Sigma.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, executive sessions, solution reviews, demonstrations, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage engagement scope, risks, dependencies, milestones, quality, utilization, and client outcomes.
  • Apply and validate AI-assisted development and AI-enabled analytics features responsibly.
  • Mentor consultants, lead enablement initiatives, and create reusable delivery assets and standards.
  • Support pre-sales through discovery calls, proposals, estimates, statements of work, and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience delivering BI, analytics, data visualization, or analytics consulting solutions.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience in enterprise or consulting environments.
  • Advanced Power BI Desktop and Service expertise, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, security, deployment, and performance optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, data quality, governance, and analytics architecture.
  • Experience leading projects from discovery through implementation, UAT, deployment, and support transition.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, and communicating with executives.
  • Working knowledge of Sigma Computing, including workbooks, data modeling, dashboards, or migration patterns.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms, warehouses, data marts, or curated datasets.
  • Practical experience with generative AI, AI-assisted development, or AI-enabled BI, including responsible human review.
  • PL-300 certification, Sigma certification, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Snowflake, dbt, or relevant development-tool experience preferred.
