Description

  • Partner with operational, regional, and executive leaders to align people strategies and HR priorities with business objectives.
  • Support multi-site, multi-state hospitals across the Southeast region.
  • Assess organizational needs related to compliance, structure, leadership effectiveness, and engagement, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Use workforce analytics, employee feedback, and operational data to improve retention, productivity, engagement, compliance, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead regional HR initiatives and cross-functional change efforts from design through implementation and adoption.
  • Develop and support employee lifecycle strategies spanning recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, retention, and offboarding.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Guide leaders through organizational change, including communication and implementation support.
  • Promote PetVet’s Culture of CARE through inclusive leadership practices, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Travel to designated PetVet Care Centers and provide flexible support across locations and time zones.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 6–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated business partnership capability.
  • Ability to influence and advise leaders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience managing sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary care, or another multi-site operational environment (strongly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, time-management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility across diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, navigate ambiguity, and remain solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI-enabled productivity tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT.
  • Must be located on the Eastern Seaboard within the Eastern time zone and able to travel within the Southeast region.
