Description

  • Manage and optimize the full contract lifecycle for client contracts in compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate internal and external reviews and approvals to move agreements through execution.
  • Track agreement status, outstanding items, and responses to ensure timely completion.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external legal counsel on client contracts.
  • Oversee version control, draft circulation, and redlining during contract negotiations.
  • Identify non-standard terms and escalate concerns appropriately to management or legal counsel.
  • Maintain accurate contract records in the internal contract management system, including expiration dates.
  • Update legal agreement templates and improve contract review, approval, and execution processes.
  • Develop training materials and deliver annual training on internal contracting processes.
  • Review and approve external legal counsel invoices and allocate expenses correctly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of legal terminology, contract structures, and standard agreement provisions.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment when escalating issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and a high volume of contracts effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, executives, and legal professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word.
  • Advanced experience using track changes, comments, and document version control in Word.
