Description

  • Research and identify prospective clients and decision-makers at colleges and universities, including CIOs, deans, program directors, and clinical coordinators.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through calls, emails, and social channels to generate interest in CORE’s solutions.
  • Qualify inbound, warm, cold, and event-based leads by understanding needs and determining product fit.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and set qualified appointments for the sales team.
  • Support senior sales team members by moving opportunities through the pipeline and ensuring smooth handoffs to account executives.
  • Maintain detailed notes, manage CRM activity, and keep sales records accurate and up to date.
  • Support pipeline management, lead re-engagement, RFPs, contracts, and sales collateral.
  • Assist with operations and marketing activities, including market research, competitor research, tradeshows, and events.
  • Track sales and marketing performance and help contribute to revenue goals.
  • Learn and apply a consultative sales approach when engaging prospective clients.

Requirements

  • 0+ years of sales experience required; prior sales experience is not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, persistent, and coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Comfort with outreach, relationship-building, and engaging new people.
  • Curiosity about higher education, health sciences, and SaaS technology.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable learning and using new technology, including CRM tools such as Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Competitive and motivated to outperform peers and sales goals.
