Description

  • Lead annual strategy sessions with institutional stakeholders to align campus goals with the PeopleGrove platform.
  • Set account targets, direct platform usage, and adjust strategy as institutional priorities change.
  • Map platform capabilities to student success, advancement, or enrollment goals.
  • Monitor progress against strategic targets and identify opportunities to expand platform usage.
  • Shape and support client-facing events such as webinars, conferences, campus visits, and hosted events.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the client by sharing feedback with Customer Success leadership, Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales.
  • Own renewal strategy for the portfolio, including forecasting, timing, and negotiation.
  • Monitor account health and risk metrics and intervene early on at-risk accounts.
  • Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities and tee them up to the New Sales team.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Engagement Managers, including priorities, one-on-ones, onboarding, and training.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in client success, account management, or a related role in higher education or SaaS.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team.
  • Track record of managing renewals and account growth for institutional or enterprise clients.
  • Experience with customer success or CRM platforms such as ChurnZero and Salesforce.
  • Strong strategic and consultative skills for working with senior stakeholders at colleges or universities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presenting in front of groups.
  • Data-driven approach to tracking account health and identifying risk.
  • Ability to manage multiple institutional relationships and competing priorities at once.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Background in higher education, SaaS, or both is preferred.
  • Approximately 35–40% travel is required.
