Description

  • Develop, manage, and close new higher education clients and programs across alumni, career, advancement, and experiential learning functions.
  • Engage senior decision-makers including CIOs, vice presidents, deans, program directors, and coordinators.
  • Deliver product demos and presentations for complex, configurable SaaS solutions while serving as the solution expert.
  • Manage a national territory independently and maintain office hours as needed.
  • Build proposals that align institutional needs with PeopleGrove’s Hub solutions and demonstrate measurable value.
  • Use outbound prospecting, addressable market analysis, LinkedIn, email, and calls to identify and qualify leads.
  • Conduct discovery calls, develop opportunities, and move prospects through the full sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Partner with marketing on events such as tradeshows, lunch-and-learns, and prospecting activities.
  • Cross-sell the broader PeopleGrove portfolio and identify repeatable opportunities and renewals.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience selling SaaS B2B solutions to higher education clients.
  • Experience supporting higher education programs such as alumni relations, career services, advancement, enrollment, or experiential learning.
  • Ability to deliver demos of complex, configurable SaaS solutions.
  • Sales certifications or 4+ years of experience with SPIN, Sandler, Value Selling, or MEDDIC methodologies.
  • Strong network and experience engaging senior institutional decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft presentation tools.
  • Proven ability to shape opportunities into non-competitive wins.
  • Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local procurement regulations.
  • Health sciences higher education experience is preferred.
