Description

  • Own and mature preventative security capabilities across cloud, SaaS, endpoint, identity, network, and data environments.
  • Translate security objectives into technical requirements, controls, tooling, and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate, configure, and deploy security tools for DLP, insider threat, endpoint security, IAM, vulnerability management, access controls, and monitoring.
  • Assess security posture, prioritize risks, and drive vulnerability remediation through completion.
  • Partner with IT, Engineering, DevOps, Product, and business teams to integrate security controls into new initiatives.
  • Build metrics and reporting to measure control effectiveness and overall security posture.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations to ensure preventative controls support threat investigation and response.
  • Develop, maintain, and test incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Support compliance initiatives and work with auditors to provide evidence, explain controls, and remediate findings.
  • Translate SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and EU AI Act requirements into technical controls.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to security staff, IT partners, and contractors.
  • Advise technical and non-technical stakeholders on security threats, vulnerabilities, and remediation strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive information security experience, including hands-on enterprise security control implementation.
  • 2+ years of technical leadership, team lead, or people management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud, SaaS, endpoint, identity, network, data, and Agentic AI security.
  • Hands-on experience with DLP, IAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, insider threat, access management, and security monitoring.
  • Experience with modern cloud infrastructure, security architecture, and risk management.
  • Experience in Mac, Linux, cloud, SaaS, and open-source-heavy environments.
  • Ability to automate security controls using scripting such as Python and infrastructure-as-code security tools such as Terraform, policy as code, and CI/CD guardrails.
  • Working knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Zero Trust frameworks.
  • Experience supporting security audits, gathering technical evidence, and remediating findings.
  • Expertise securing third-party API and OAuth integrations, including scoping, token lifecycle management, and revocation.
  • Ability to communicate technical risks and solutions to engineering, product, IT, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in U.S.-based technology environments and familiarity with enterprise security expectations.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
