Description

  • Own endpoint security across macOS, Windows, and Linux, including hardening, EDR, patching, and MDM compliance.
  • Design and operate identity and access architecture covering SSO, MFA, conditional access, and least privilege.
  • Drive the corporate zero-trust access strategy.
  • Secure SaaS applications through configuration hardening, monitoring, and automated detection of risky changes.
  • Build automation for provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and employee self-service security guardrails.
  • Partner with IT and Detection & Response teams to improve corporate telemetry and detect phishing, account compromise, and device threats.
  • Lead responses to phishing, account takeover, and endpoint incidents, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Set corporate security standards, define strategy, identify high-impact risks, and mentor engineers across IT and security.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of security engineering experience, including substantial corporate or enterprise security experience.
  • Hands-on endpoint security and management experience with EDR and MDM across macOS and Windows.
  • Deep identity and access management expertise, including SSO, MFA, SAML/OIDC, and modern identity providers such as Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace.
  • Experience securing SaaS environments and implementing zero-trust access.
  • Strong scripting or software development skills in Python, Go, or a similar language.
  • Ability to balance effective security controls with a positive employee experience and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with detection engineering for corporate telemetry preferred.
  • Familiarity with device management tools and osquery-style fleet visibility preferred.
  • Experience responding to phishing and account compromise at scale preferred.
  • Experience securing a fast-growing, remote-friendly workforce preferred.
