Description

  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned medical education programs across Penumbra’s product lines and therapies.
  • Coordinate agenda and content creation, attendee registration, logistics, and on-site clinical support for educational events.
  • Collaborate with Medical Education leadership to align program execution and process implementation with overall strategy.
  • Partner with product and marketing teams to align education with clinical messaging and product strategy.
  • Maintain and update standard program templates, agenda templates, and speaker slide decks to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Develop and maintain onsite support structures for programs and events.
  • Ensure programs comply with FDA, company, legal, regulatory, HCC, and Sunshine Act requirements.
  • Deliver quarterly updates and analyses to Area Directors and sales teams on program performance and medical education resources.
  • Analyze program metrics, attendee feedback, utilization trends, and educational outcomes to identify process improvements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with faculty, sales, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Support and mentor Medical Education Program Coordinators, Associates, and Specialists in partnership with managers.
  • Maintain clinical and disease-state knowledge to develop accurate learning solutions and understand competing products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant medical education and clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience managing multiple complex programs and events simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 60% or more, including weekends.
  • Ability to work in a general office environment and perform occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in medical education and clinical work is preferred.
  • Ability to work with compliance, privacy, security, and quality system requirements.

  • Competitive compensation with annual base salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 for a high-cost labor market.
