Description

  • Build, test, and deploy email campaigns, journeys, automations, and audience segments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Configure and maintain Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Contact Builder based on client needs.
  • Develop dynamic content, personalization rules, data extensions, and AMPscript logic for marketing programs.
  • Support list management, subscriber hygiene, and data quality processes to maintain deliverability and compliance.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Marketing Cloud Connect and Sales/Service Cloud integrations.
  • Ensure marketing execution follows HIPAA and healthcare data compliance requirements.
  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets and enhancement requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform regular account health checks and proactively identify platform issues before they affect client operations.
  • Document configurations, solution decisions, and known issues to maintain account continuity.
  • Generate campaign performance reports, engagement analytics, and platform usage summaries for client stakeholders.
  • Translate reporting insights into actionable recommendations and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Partner with Lead Consultants and Project Managers to keep workstreams moving independently and flag scope, risk, or satisfaction concerns early.
  • Document reusable processes, templates, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience with the ability to independently own campaign execution and platform configuration.
  • Proficiency with core Marketing Cloud studios: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Mobile Studio.
  • Experience with AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL for dynamic content, data extension queries, and automation logic.
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Connect and Salesforce CRM integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with data extension management, audience segmentation, and subscriber lifecycle best practices.
  • Understanding of email deliverability, CAN-SPAM/CASL compliance, and sender reputation management.
  • Active Salesforce certification required: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Administrator at minimum.
  • Experience managing client-facing support engagements, including ticket triage, SLA adherence, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to work independently, self-prioritize across multiple accounts, and operate with minimal day-to-day oversight.
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort leading client calls and delivering status updates.
  • Additional Marketing Cloud certifications strongly preferred, such as Marketing Cloud Consultant or Marketing Cloud Developer.
  • Experience supporting Health & Life Sciences clients and handling HIPAA-related data requirements.
  • Exposure to Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) for reporting and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Health Cloud or Service Cloud in Marketing Cloud integration scenarios.
  • Experience with managed services or retainer-based consulting delivery models.
  • Comfort working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Salesforce cases.
  • Prior experience at a Salesforce consulting partner or systems integrator.
