Description

  • Build backend services in Go for APIs, microservices, and core platform functionality.
  • Design and maintain REST APIs, internal microservices, and authentication flows.
  • Implement rate limiting, retry logic, fault tolerance, and error handling for backend systems.
  • Build and support integrations with 100+ enterprise systems using OAuth, webhooks, and external APIs.
  • Design event-driven architectures and data pipelines for security data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment.
  • Work with PostgreSQL to design schemas, optimize queries, improve indexing, and support multi-tenant data models.
  • Deploy and manage services across cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and reliability improvements across backend infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Product, Security, and Engineering stakeholders on architecture decisions and technical design reviews.
  • Support AI-powered security workflows, automation initiatives, and broader platform scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong backend engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Go (preferred), or Python, Java, or TypeScript with willingness to learn Go.
  • Experience building APIs and distributed backend systems.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, with PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, authentication systems, and asynchronous processing.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and an ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with OAuth, event-driven systems, messaging queues, or distributed architectures (nice to have).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity platforms, SIEM tools, identity management tools, or endpoint security tools (nice to have).
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience (nice to have).
  • Interest in AI systems, LLM-powered workflows, or applied AI infrastructure (nice to have).
