Description

  • Post and manage job openings across job boards and support early-stage candidate communication and interview scheduling.
  • Prepare onboarding and offboarding materials, including offer letters, employee packets, orientation schedules, and exit coordination.
  • Ensure completion of I-9s, E-Verify, tax forms, direct deposit setup, and other compliance paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS platforms and track PTO, benefits enrollment, employee changes, and organizational updates.
  • Generate HR reports on headcount, turnover, compliance, and employee data for leadership.
  • Support payroll preparation and reconciliation by validating hours, deductions, and benefits data before processing.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and coordinate open enrollment and benefits administration activities.
  • Maintain HR policies, SOPs, employee documentation, and audit-ready records in line with labor law requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, and support engagement and performance management workflows.
  • Coordinate training sessions, compliance certifications, and HR process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR support, HR operations, or people operations.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms such as BambooHR, ADP, Gusto, Zenefits, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with U.S. labor law compliance, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEOC, and multi-state labor laws.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office spreadsheets, and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification preferred.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll, international HR support, or startup environments preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or process improvement preferred.
  • Background supporting SaaS, professional services, or high-growth companies preferred.
